Term & Conditions:
- Local languages refer to Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English, Tamil & Local Chinese
dialects. - Foreign languages refer to all languages other than those mentioned above.
- Minimum meal allowance of for overland assignments if meals are not provided.
Breakfast RM15.00; Lunch RM20.00; Dinner RM20.00; - Accommodation must be provided by hire / operator. Female or male guides are to be
provided with rooms, or share rooms with female or male TG companion respectively @
the same Hotel . If the Hotel is not provided, TG are entitle to claim RM 200 + 55 per night for Hotel Accommodation & Meal. - Upon exceeding the hours indicated in the Half Day or Full Day Tours shown above,
overtime rates are applicable regardless of whether a full hour is incurred or not. - Midnight surcharge of additional 50 % on normal guide fee for all assignments or services extended beyond midnight and before 0630 hours the next day.
- Cancellation of overland assignments must be given 3 days’ notice in advance,
otherwise a 01day professional fee will be charged. - Cancellation of all other assignments must be given 24 hours notice in advance, otherwise the full assignment fee must be paid.
- A transport charge of RM 100.00 is applicable for all assignments starting / finishing at any of the Thailand / Malaysia border entry / exit points and / or Second Link Johor.
- The amount charged is to reimburse the tourist guide for his / her transport / traveling
expenses to / from the borders and / or Second Link to pickup / drop-off tourists accordingly.
For assignment(s) where a guide Is engaged to travel with the group from the start, to the finish of the tour at the Second link, a single charge is applicable as the guide concerned need only to travel once – to and from the Second Link. For assignment(s) where the guide engaged needs to perform the pick-up and drop-off on different days, two separate charges are applicable as the guide concerned needs to travel to and from the point of assignment on separate days to pick-up and drop-off the group. ‘ - Guides’ Fees are doubled on the following ( 6 ) Six Malaysian festive days:
1. New Year – January 1st 2. Labour Day – May 1st
3. Hari Raya Puasa – Day 1 & Day 2 4. Chinese New Year – Day 1 & Day 2
5. Deepavali Day 6. Christmas – December 25th
Note: * Malaysian TG are not allowed to do any Tour commentary in Singapore during
Groups transfer w/out the present of Singapore. Local Tourist Guide or Fine
not exceeding SIN $5,000 or 6mts jail or both.
